The Diapered Duo

The other night after dinner, the kids were kinda messy so we went ahead and stripped them down to their diapers before their bath. And they were too cute to not take a few pictures! :)

Partners in crime....

...and yes, both of their diapers were "full". :) Which is why they were sagging so much.

Going to work...

So, Evan totally gets the concept of Daddy "going to work". So, the other day he put my shoes on, grabbed my "bag" (aka purse), and his bear...and was ready to go to work!

Caden

Seriously, how cute is this kid??

Caden can now stand really well. He even pulls himself up so that he can get into ALL of Evan's toys!

....and Evan

This is Evan in his hemet - which he wears whenever tricycle riding is on the agenda.
And these were pictures that I took during his talk with my sister on his phone, (See the earlier post for the story if you're confused)

For Jess...

So, Jess gave me this.
Apparently, you need to write your 5 addictions, and then send it on to 5 other bloggers that you think are fabulous so they can do the same thing. But Jess, I know my blog isn't fabulous...you just don't have many blogs that you read. So, I win by default. :) And, I don't have many either, so Mandy, I am giving this to you as well. (But your blog IS fabulous!) Okay, here it goes. My addictions....
1. My boys, of course. I'm kind of in love with them :)
2. My TV. We have TiVO through our cable and can record tons of shows. I can keep up on all my faves. And Evan can as well. We probably have 10+ Sid the Science Kid episodes.

3. These are super yummy. And as you can see, only 100 calories! :)

4. My yummy Starbucks drink. A decaf, nonfat, sugar-free vanilla latte. Mmmm

and, 5. Probably the computer. I love surfing blogs and facebook. Good times catching up on people.
There. I'm done. All for you, Jess. :)

Evan-isms

So, Evan is pretty funny these days. He talks a ton and the things that come out of his mouth are hilarious. For instance:

-When we were walking through Walmart today, he started singing. First it was "Jesus loves me" in a very loud, sweet voice. Then he broke into, "I'm a single lady, I'm a single lady....shoulda' put a ring on it". For those of you who don't know, that is a new Beyonce song. Casey did the honors of teaching him the words. :)

-Last night, we were having a dance party after dinner. It usually entails searching the stations for whatever has a good beat, and then all of us dancing around the living room. Casey asked Evan, "What do you want to listen to? Country, Pop, Rock, Rap." To which Evan replied, "Rap, Daddy. I want to listen to rap". I guess he's our little gangster. :)

-Okay, one more. A couple weeks ago he was "talking" to my sister on his toy phone. He kept saying "$20 a day? Okay!" Apparently she has hired him to do some work I don't know about. Hmmmm
