Apparently, Evan really enjoys having things either around his neck, on his head, or in his mouth. Each set of these pictures was taken on a totally different day, and when I looked back at the pictures in my camera I laughed because all of them were of him walking around with something attached somewhere. Maybe he has been spending a little too much time with the dogs....

I'm starting to see a pattern here....

To all the dog lovers out there...
So, since becoming a "stay at home mom" I have found that a fair amount of my time is spent cleaning up after my "kids". Whether it's cleaning Evan up after eating, cleaning up the high chair, vaccumming dog hair off the floor, wiping Benny's drool off of the wall....well you get the picture. There is a lot of "cleaning up" going on in my house. Well, today I had to tackle my least favorite "cleaning up" activity. (And just to warn you who are "weak in the stomach"; you may not want to keep reading.)
We switched dog food a couple weeks ago, and for some reason it has not set well with my dear, sweet Benny. He gets up at least three times a night to "do his business" outside. Well, this morning I let the dogs in from outside only to discover that Benny had poop stuck in all of his hair...back there. I immediatly threw him back outside while trying to make a plan. First, I called Casey to see if he would make a special trip home just to trim Beny's hair back there. He just laughed and basically said, "good luck". Then, my brother-in-law stopped by to pick something up for my sister and I tried to pawn the job off on him. No such luck. So, I armed myself with gloves and scissors and stepped outside to do one of the most disgusting things I have ever had to do as a dog-owner. Benny did very well, considering I was VERY up close and personal with his hind-region. And as I had the hair that I was trimming blown back on me by the wind, I pondered how crazy the things are that we do for love. All that to say, Benny is now clean as a whistle and I am done "cleaning up" - for the moment.
