Outside time....

(This new expression of his is cracking me up!)

Casey was getting a leaf out of Caden's mouth. Nothing like giant man-hands on your head and in your mouth. :)

Snack time

We came in from playing the other day, and somebody found the cheerios...and then all three of them wanted to get in on the action....and yes, they were eating them off the floor :)

Caden!

Evan!

His crazy hair cracks me up!

Another Evan-ism

So, I know I'm lame and haven't posted in a while, so I thought I'd write about the hilarious thing Evan said yesterday. (don't worry, more pics to come soon) We were playing at my sisters house (he calls her Mimi), and I said, "okay, we need to go home soon." Evan said, "no, no, no...I want to stay at Mimi's house!". And I replied, "What do you like so much about Mimi's house?". To which he said, "It's very much clean". My sister and I then laughed hysterically because even though she does have a clean house, I am definitely more the clean freak in the family. So I said, "Our house is clean too." And he said, "no it's dirty!" Me: "What's dirty in our house?" Evan: (pointing up) "it's dirty up there!" Me: "Oh. You don't like the popcorn on the ceiling!" (We have a house from the 80's) We then assured him that in fact, OUR house was the clean house, and Mimi's house was dirty. Unless, of course, Grandma came over and cleaned it. (she did that a lot when Mandy was on bedrest, and when James was a newborn.)
So now when we ask him what Mimi's house is like, he says "Mimi's house is very dirty...our house is clean". That's right, buddy. Our house is clean... :)

The Diapered Duo

The other night after dinner, the kids were kinda messy so we went ahead and stripped them down to their diapers before their bath. And they were too cute to not take a few pictures! :)

Partners in crime....

...and yes, both of their diapers were "full". :) Which is why they were sagging so much.

Going to work...

So, Evan totally gets the concept of Daddy "going to work". So, the other day he put my shoes on, grabbed my "bag" (aka purse), and his bear...and was ready to go to work!

Caden

Seriously, how cute is this kid??

Caden can now stand really well. He even pulls himself up so that he can get into ALL of Evan's toys!

....and Evan

This is Evan in his hemet - which he wears whenever tricycle riding is on the agenda.
And these were pictures that I took during his talk with my sister on his phone, (See the earlier post for the story if you're confused)

For Jess...

So, Jess gave me this.
Apparently, you need to write your 5 addictions, and then send it on to 5 other bloggers that you think are fabulous so they can do the same thing. But Jess, I know my blog isn't fabulous...you just don't have many blogs that you read. So, I win by default. :) And, I don't have many either, so Mandy, I am giving this to you as well. (But your blog IS fabulous!) Okay, here it goes. My addictions....
1. My boys, of course. I'm kind of in love with them :)
2. My TV. We have TiVO through our cable and can record tons of shows. I can keep up on all my faves. And Evan can as well. We probably have 10+ Sid the Science Kid episodes.

3. These are super yummy. And as you can see, only 100 calories! :)

4. My yummy Starbucks drink. A decaf, nonfat, sugar-free vanilla latte. Mmmm

and, 5. Probably the computer. I love surfing blogs and facebook. Good times catching up on people.
There. I'm done. All for you, Jess. :)

Evan-isms

So, Evan is pretty funny these days. He talks a ton and the things that come out of his mouth are hilarious. For instance:

-When we were walking through Walmart today, he started singing. First it was "Jesus loves me" in a very loud, sweet voice. Then he broke into, "I'm a single lady, I'm a single lady....shoulda' put a ring on it". For those of you who don't know, that is a new Beyonce song. Casey did the honors of teaching him the words. :)

-Last night, we were having a dance party after dinner. It usually entails searching the stations for whatever has a good beat, and then all of us dancing around the living room. Casey asked Evan, "What do you want to listen to? Country, Pop, Rock, Rap." To which Evan replied, "Rap, Daddy. I want to listen to rap". I guess he's our little gangster. :)

-Okay, one more. A couple weeks ago he was "talking" to my sister on his toy phone. He kept saying "$20 a day? Okay!" Apparently she has hired him to do some work I don't know about. Hmmmm

My sweet boys

A little brotherly love :)

Evan was throughly enjoying Caden's toy...

And Caden is now crawling! He does an "army" crawl, which is pretty funny to watch. :) But man does he move fast! I think very soon he will figure out the hands and knees thing, but until then, he gets where he wants by using this method!!

Cousins

The three amigos :)

The dogs..

I haven't posted pictures of the dogs in awhile, so I thought I would. :) Yes, they're still cute. And yes, they're still naughty.

Caden's 6 month pictures with Benny....

...yes, I know they're almost 2 months late, but they're still cute. :)

Christmas Day!

So, these are really not in the right order, but oh well. We had a really fun Christmas. The boys enjoyed their gifts...Evan got a train table which he loves. :)

That's Evan's Mr. Potato head, not Casey's. He was just showing it off for the camera. :)

We had our big Christmas dinner with my family. Good times were had by all.... :)
